Its not easy being green
Our local council suggests that of the black bag waste we dispose of, 52 percent of that could be recycled. Which leaves a long way to go before we, in South Gloucestershire, can claim to be good and green. There seems to be a recyclable use for nearly everything we use, from sofas to spectacles, but the recycling targets for local councils are not currently being met, so are we just using too much?
With the cost to landfill at over £100 per tonne, we are keen to do our bit to help, so we are currently looking at ways to carry out the 3 R’s at EasyLifts South West.
What are your tops tips for recycling? Are you as green as grass (cuttings) or does composting make your skin crawl? Get in touch if we can help send your stairlift to heaven (all puns intended) in the greenest way possible!
